Wednesday 5th March 2003: Thunderbirds Update:
AICN got the following set report on Thunderbirds "On set at moment here at lot 6. It looks basically like the inside of Tracy Island from the TV show.Only more modern and not made of carboard!. There is a big hole in the floor where sparks come up when filming, this seems to be some damage that has happened when Tracy Island came under attack (sub story which not show in film. we only hear about it) life is getting back to normal after some big event when they get "the call". Something BIG is happening on lot 2, I'm not allowed in because I don't have clearance, but Production is trying to keep it under tight wraps. The film is by Tracy Films Ltd, and the story is unclear to me at the moment. The basic outline of the story is that something (possibly belonging to the Government) is stolen, and while the Thunderbirds team are trying to recover it, one of the 5 Tracy brothers gets kidnapped and the mission then turns into a rescue and recovery. The set is spaced out over about 5 of the Studios' 19 stages ñ including the world famous Albert R Broccoli 007 Stage. We know the Bond film ran over, and this has something to do with the script being changed. Why? I'll never know. But the crew seem more than happy about the script change. "

Wednesday 5th March 2003: Tomb Raider 2 Update:
Jan De Bont has been talking about Tomb Raider 2 "This is a great story, and more reality-based than the first film, concentrating on both ancient and modern worlds, but not so fantasy-based. It's a darker, sexier story, and it shows Lara's vulnerability, and is more three dimensional. She's not superhuman. She can be tested. She doesn't always have the answers. All the characters have been more thoroughly developed."

Ashanti has been talking about the plans to remake Sparkle that was released in 1976. The movie will be directed by Irv Gotti of Murder Inc. The plan for the movie is for Ashanti to star alongside Ja Rule. This is what she had to say "I saw the script yesterday in Irv's office on his desk, so I guess the fire's getting hot now. That's the classic movie. It was on heavy rotation in my house." The movie would focus on three sisters from Harlem who become singing stars.

Wednesday 5th March 2003: The Matrix Reloaded Update:
Monica Belluci has been talking about The Matrix Reloaded "I'll tell you, when you're in front of the camera, for a small budget movie or a big budget movie, there's no difference. When you're in front of the camera, I think an actor works with their soul and their thought and the language comes. She (Persephone) was the daughter of Zeus and she was kidnapped by the king of the underworld, in Hades and she was allowed to come back into the living world. It says a lot about my character, Persephone, but I can't tell you [more] about it. She's very mysterious and sensual, more glamour, but dangerous, very dangerous. My action scenes are not like jumping on the wall, it's completely different kind of stuff. You'll see it in the movie."

Wednesday 5th March 2003: The Passion Update:
Monica Belluci has been talking about The Passion "I think what Mel Gibson wanted to do is really a strong visual movie and I've seen a few things that look really, really beautiful and it's like a painting. Mel was really generous, and he's an actor, not just a director. So, he knows very well how to get the best from you and use it for the performance because he is an actor. I had a great time. I think that the concept is going to be like a silent movie. When you see a silent movie, you understand everything that's going on from the images because the images are so strong and I think that this film is going to be the same, the concept is there. Everyone knows the history of Jesus. When you're going to see what happened, you've heard about him so many times that you'll understand what's going on. So, sometimes, words are too small to express all the concepts and I think that's what the vision of the film is. The film is going to talk more than the words."
